Reiki business startup checklist
Turn your launch into specific tasks with owners, costs, and evidence. A checked box means the task has been completed, not that a generic checklist has made your practice compliant.

Who this is for
Practitioners preparing to open bookings who want each launch task recorded with an owner, status, due date, cost and evidence.
What the file contains
- Offer
- Write accurate service description; define adult audience, session boundaries, capacity, and location.
- Verification
- Check business name, registration/tax needs, local permissions, service restrictions, insurance coverage, and privacy requirements with the appropriate sources.
- Money
- Create startup budget and cash reserve; choose price assumptions; separate business records; verify payment process.
- Workflow
- Adapt F01/F02/F06/F12; choose storage; set booking and contact channels; prepare service menu.
- Website
- Publish accurate contact, services, price, access information, booking instructions, and policies; test mobile.
- Rehearsal
- Use fictional client data to rehearse booking, payment, form delivery, rescheduling, and receipt.
- Launch
- Confirm reviewer checks; fix blockers; set first operating review date.
- Columns
- Every task row: owner; status not started/in progress/done/blocked; due date; cost; evidence link/location; note.
How to customize it
Do not mark a task done merely because an application was submitted. Record approval or the actual result. A blocked legal/insurance issue remains blocked until resolved; it is not a reason to invent an answer. Use SBA resources as a starting navigation point, then use local authorities.
Scope and limitations
Requirements depend on your location and services. The checklist records the checks you make and their evidence; it does not establish that every requirement has been met.
Copy included in the file
Start with the tasks that determine whether and how you can offer the service. Do not purchase a large software plan or permanent space before you know the workflow you need. Keep evidence of the checks that matter to your location and services.
